Choose a narrow first job
Good first workflows collect an enquiry, route a service request or answer a bounded administrative question. Define the input, the expected response and the person responsible if the flow cannot continue.
Write the exception path
Customers answer in unexpected ways. Include a route for unclear responses, a request to speak to someone and a message outside the workflow scope. A flow that only handles perfect answers will quickly frustrate real users.
Keep the information request proportional
Ask for what the receiving team needs to act, not every field your business could collect. Explain the next step. Avoid unnecessary sensitive details and do not turn an enquiry flow into a decision system for high-stakes matters.
Check the implementation type
A rules-based menu and an AI-generated assistant are different capabilities. Confirm whether your requirement is available, what data it uses, how it is tested and whether it can perform the actions you describe. Do not select a platform from an AI label alone.
Test the handover
Ask the receiving agent to review the customer’s answers and the next action. Make sure the customer understands whether a booking is requested or confirmed. Test failure cases for any connected application.
Review live questions
Once the agreed workflow is launched, review where customers ask for a person or leave the flow. Use those observations to simplify the questions and improve routing. Keep a responsible owner for changes.
Guest service across time zones
An international hospitality team can acknowledge an enquiry, collect arrival context and hand it to the relevant service desk during its published coverage hours.
Tell us the operating and recipient countries, language needs and coverage hours. The proposed setup will distinguish UAE pricing from any other market-specific commercial terms.
